Parallels 2x rdp11/30/2023 I think it is just more of a delay but it makes it a non issue whereas on Microsoft RDP, Jump Desktop, Royal TSX, etc. That aside, while Parallels still doesn't let you stop the menu bar and dock from showing up when you hover the mouse at the top and bottom of the screen, they have built in some kind of handling that makes it a lot more workable than any other RDP client out there. i have confirmed nothing like this happens when I am in full screen using the Microsoft RDP app. It is a neat feature I suppose but should not be the default and you should be able to turn it off. The most annoying issue currently is that when you are in a full screen remote session, the Parallels client seems to enable Do Not Disturb on the Windows side so you do not receive any of your notifications. It gives you better control over your remote desktop experience compared to the Misrosoft RDP app but this one still has some minor issues you should be aware of. All I want is the simple UI of CoRD.I really do like this app a lot. Because I hate the giant connections window of Microsoft's RDP Client. I'm not sure if Parallels is actively developing the standard RDP functionality of this anymore (vs the main Parallels RAS client functionality), but I hope so. No other RDP clients have a problem with those servers, so I have to switch to another client when that happens. PITAĢ) Sometimes it hangs trying to login to some of my W2k8 R2 server VMs, It just stalls on loading profile, never loads desktop. So if you want custom settings, like most people, you'll have to do it for each and every single connection you set up. And I like how you can export and import settings easily.ġ) No template or global default preference change or copying existing connection to a new one. Nothing has yet to replace the beautiful CoRD simplicity of connections drawer + unified window, but I like how this simply lists the connections in a tight palette, so at least that part comes close. I'd used this on occasion for standard RDP for years, since it was 2X RDP, but switched to it full time once CoRD became obsolete under El Capitan. Parallels Client can connect to all major virtual desktop infrastructures through Parallels 2X RAS.
